Take Me Out To The...

BALLGAME!
 Last Tuesday Arrington and I headed out to watch my brother pitch for the Grand Prairie Air Hogs. It was a hot one, but we had a great time. I made sure to have the stroller fan and we also spent a little time in their bar area, which is nice and air conditioned. It's safe to say that Arrington enjoyed her first time watching her Uncle pitch.

5 Months

Arrington turned 5 months old July 9th. We could not ask for a happier and healthier little girl. She is constantly smiling or giggling and rarely ever cries unless tired or hungry. She has a new found love for all small people (aka babies) and squeals in delight when faced with one or even sees a picture of a baby. This does sometime scare the other babies, but hey, she's excited to meet someone around her age and her height :)! Little miss priss is such a joy to be around and Ben and I could not ask for a more precious gift from God. We LOVE you Arrington!

• has had all stage 1 foods... sweet potatoes, squash, peas, carrots, pears, apples, prunes, bananas, peaches, mangos, and blueberry, pear, and purple carrot... does anyone else use Plum Organic baby food? I absolutely LOVE these and so does Arrington. They have some interesting combination of foods, but it's supposed to broaden babies palate and Arrington loves them. 
• eats fruit and cereal for breakfast and veggie and cereal for dinner
• weighed in at 12 lbs. 15 oz.
• wears size 1-2 diapers
• Phe level 132
• size 3 month clothing
• loves to sit in her highchair
• quite the talker and squealer
• likes her exersaucer and jumper
• rolling everywhere
• working on sitting on her own
• loves to play in her crib... I never know what time she wakes up, because she is perfectly content laying in there and playing with her feet or blankets
• loves her kiki... better know as a lovie
• chews and puts everything in her mouth
• has some new growth of very blonde hair
• loves to lay on the floor and play with her toys or kick kick kick

July 4th

For the 4th we headed down to the lake house at Possum Kingdom for a spectacular time with great family and friends. This was Arrington's first time at the lake house and she loved it! We didn't put her in the water, and won't till next year, since she is so young. You never know what kind of ickies are floating in lake water. We had such a fun time relaxing, taking boat rides, floating, laying out, eating, and of course having a couple of cold ones! Almost everyone got there on Thursday night. The guys played a round of golf at the Cliffs early Friday morning and the rest of the weekend was spent out on the lake.
