Arrington at 15 Month

I can't believe our baby girl is already 15 months! It seems like she changes daily and is always doing or saying something new. It truly amazes me how fast babies can pick up new things. She is just the sweetest lil' angel baby, such a joy to be around, and can bring a smile to just about anyone's face ;). She makes me laugh daily with some of the silly things she does. This baby girl, or should I start saying toddler girl ;), makes everyday wonderful for us!

2 Week Appointment

We had Bennett's 2 week appointment on Wednesday May 4th along with Arrington's 15 month appointment. Whew, it's hard taking two babies to the doctor, especially with one that thinks she's going to get her heel pricked every time. Both had wonderful checkups and looked as healthy as could be.
Bennett's Stats were:
  • 7 lbs. (10%)
  • 20 inches tall (24%)
  • Head  34.7 cm (11%)
Here's a few random pictures from Bennett's first 3 weeks of life! We have been soaking in every moment with our two love bugs and are adjusting beautifully!

 Big Blue Eyed Boy
One day I'm going to miss those cries
I could kiss kiss kiss those beautiful lips all day... just sayin'

In this family you have to have a LOVE for baseball and it starts early!

The May's came to visit!

 ...and Becky too!
Can you spot Bennett's wild hair? I love it!

A Sister's Love

Arrington has been AMAZING with Bennett! She is so gentle and careful when around him and makes sure to shower him with kisses everyday! Arrington will try to give Bennett her binki, covers his feet with a blanket, and even will share her toy baby bottle with him ;). When he cries she will go check on him and make sure to point out that Bennett is upset. Sometimes we will just sit back and nonchalantly watch her give her brother love and attention. She truly adores him and it melts our hearts! I can't wait to see this Sister and Brother love blossom throughout the years! I have a feeling they will be the Best of Friends! Sweet babies of ours!

Here's some pictures of Arrington helping baby brother swing when he was 2 weeks old
 Uh-Oh... as she would say

Rocking him ever so gently ;)

When Mommy's Not Around...

A bottle will have to do!
Bennett had his first bottle feeding on May 1st. We did a practice round to make sure he would take a bottle when I would be at our best friends wedding the next weekend. Bottle feeding was a success and he took to it like a champ. Of course, both Daddy and Mommy had to try ;). I wanted to try the Playtex drop-ins, since they had great reviews with breast-fed babies. He took right to them with no problem and sucked that bottle down like a little oinker!

Oink!!! Oink!!!

Little Piggies!!!
Arrington's hair is really taking off and it's so fun to try out new do's! I love her in 'piggies' and also with her little 'sprout' on top of her head! I'm thinking a 'pony' is coming soon!!!

First Doctors Visit

Bennett had his first doctors visit on Monday, April 25th at 5 days old. Our pediatrician said he looked great! Bennett was just one ounce under his birth weight, at 6 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19.75 inches long. I'm pretty sure the nurse at the hospital did not get his exact measurement, since their would be no way he could go from 19 inches to 19.75 inches in a mere 5 days. I thank God everyday for our two little happy, healthy, and beautiful babies! Here's a few pictures from our first little venture out as a family of FOUR!

I Think I Hear A Bunny Coming...

Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail....
Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail!

Here Arrington is all dressed up at our first attempt to visit the Easter Bunny... but, there was no Easter Bunny to be found out at Uptown in Cedar Hill.

We had such a fantastic Easter this year! We were blessed with our sweet baby boy and got to spend this special day with BOTH our sweeties!
Our Itty Bitty 4 day old Bunny!
 Eating some Easter Breakfast
Woo Hoo for the Easter Bunny
Looking for Bennett...
Didn't find him, but she sure did find his Binki!

We started out the day by getting Arrington ready to head to church with Uncle Billie, Aunt Allie, and Brig! Allie had bought the girls matching outfits and they looked adorable! Thank you guys so much for taking her with you to church, the precious outfit, and both Arrington's and Bennett's adorable Easter Baskets!
Aren't they just ADORABLE!?!

Arrington telling Brigham secrets ;)

For lunch B-Paw and Nauna came over to bring what the Easter Bunny had dropped off at their house and some lunch. Arrington and Bennett had a bunch of goodies in their basket and were so excited for all their new loot... you will see the excitement on Arrington's face below!

SO EXCITED!
This Picture Cracks Me UP!!!!

Later that afternoon Pops, Lolli, Papa, Nana, and Niles came over to see our Little Bunnies and to bring what the Big Easter Bunny had dropped off.

We also had a few more visitors come by during the day!
Thank you everyone who came to wish the babies a Happy Easter!
Still working on this thing we call 'walking' ;)... she almost has it!
She can walk holding onto one finger, but just doesn't have the courage to do it on her own...
Sweet cautious baby!

 Checkin on her baby Bennett

 Yay, for more Easter  Baskets!!

Thank you so much to everyone who made our Easter so very special!!!
