Two Months

I know I will probably say this every month, but how does time fly so quickly with these little ones? I can't believe Mommy's little angel is already TWO months. At times I am saddened by how fast she is growing, but then I see her do something new or smile and I just think about all the fun times we are going embark on as she grows. At two months she seems like a completely different baby. She's so much more active and you can see a glimpse of her personality trying to peek through.
WE JUST LOVE THIS LITTLE GIRL SO MUCH!
The love you have for your child is so overwhelming, and at times I just can't help but to kiss kiss kiss. I better get all the kisses I can get before she gets too big and doesn't like Mommy's kisses anymore. The bond and love you have for your child is like no other love and so indescribable. It completely makes you think about how much love your Mom has for you and you truly appreciate it.
Baby girl I love you more than words can even describe!!

We had Arrington's two month check up on April 7th. She weighed 9 lbs. 9 oz. (25th percentile) and was 21.5 inches long (25th percentile) I think she is actually longer than this. Arrington had all her shots, but her Hepatitis, Mommy couldn't handle another one, which she will get in May when we go back for her monthly phenylalanine level test. Those shots plus her heel prick was just too much, so I spread the shots out a bit. Her phenylalanine test came back at 186! Which is down from a month ago, which was at 252! Thank you God! Just please pray for it to continue to stay low.

At two months Arrington Elizabeth....
  • 9 lbs. 9 oz. (25th %) 21.5 inches long (25th %)  head circumference  33.9 (10th %) baby girl has a tiny head
  • strictly breastfeeds, but has a bottle every now in then (probably once a week)
  • eats 6-7 times a day. Not sure how many oz since I breast feed most of the time, but thinking 3-4.5
  • trying to transition from the soothie paci to other pacifiers. Prefers the Avent or Gerber Nuks
  • LOVES bath time... she will be upset and I can put her in the bath and she smiles from ear to ear
  • loves kicking in the bath and talking with Mommy
  • takes a long morning nap (wakes at around 6-7:30 to eat and goes back down till around noon
  • has not established a good afternoon nap, it's an everyday battle :)
  • starting to nap in her crib
  • sleeps with a white noise sound machine
  • sleeps on her tummy and scoots all around the bed. You can not place this child on an adult bed, because she will scoot all the way to the side
  • has the most beautiful big blue eyes, gorgeous lips, amazing smile, and head full of beautiful strawberry blonde hair.... We are a little biased though :)
  • loves to lay on her changing table and stare at the bottom of her book shelf... she lays there and coos forever
  • likes her play mat. We have one that has music and lights that she loves
  • she is starting to like her swing. I will open the back door and place the swing so she can look outside
  • still wears newborn clothes, but can fit in a few 0-3 months
  • Loves, loves, loves her Moby. This is how I run errands or eat lunch or dinner out.
  • Hates her carrier, but can tolerate it if watching Baby Einstein in the car. We got a portable DVD player that hangs from the back seat headrest from Lovie and B-Paw that is our saving grace from screaming fits in the car
  • Loves to lay and chit chat with Mommy and Daddy
  • is the most snugly and lovable baby. She loves to be held as close as possible and if laying down with me will bury her face in my chest

Hippity Hop Hop

This Easter was so special and one we will not forget! It was our little angels first BIG holiday. Having her here to share it with made it so much more special! This little one is the light of our lives!

We spent Easter Sunday with Ben's side of the family. We started the day off by celebrating the Big Man Above and going to church with B-Paw, Lovie, Connie, Justin, Hannah, and Ashley. We then had brunch at Shady Valley Country Club and also met up with the Crudup's. Arrington's Godmother Hillary, had a precious Easter basket for Arrington with the cutest embroidered bloomers and a cute little bunny rabbit. We then headed on over to B-Paw and Lovie's to meet up with everyone. Arrington got some great loot from Lovie and B-Paw! Toys, sunglasses, outfits, and a gift card to Babies R Us. She also got an adorable "Princess" fork and spoon set from GGNana and a cute outfit from Connie and one from Jay and Shannon. We had quite the crew... B-Paw, Lovie, Billie, Allie, Brigham, GG Nana, Clark, Angie, Jason, Connie, Justin, Hannah, Courtney, and Justin. We opened Easter baskets and then had dinner and hung out.

This is when opening Arrington's Easter basket got a little difficult. Little Missy was exhausted. All this little girl wanted was a 3 hour nap :)

The next Sunday we had Easter with my side of the family. We all met up at Chili's on University for a quick lunch, then headed on over to the Fort Worth Zoo for Arrington's first zoo experience! I was quite excited about this, since I love the zoo! We had such a great afternoon there and it was a perfect day for the zoo. All the animals were out and it wasn't too hot, too cold, or too windy. We walked all the exhibits and Arrington was great the whole time! We then went back to our place and cooked out hamburgers and opened Easter baskets. Arrington got lots of new outfits from her Lolli, Pops, Nana, and Papa!

YAY! Arrington's first set of golf clubs! Daddy was pumped about this... even though she won't be using these for awhile ;)
I thought this card was precious! Look at that paci in the bunnies mouth :)

We had such a great time with both families and are looking forward to many more holidays with our little LOVE!

Not So Clear...

If anyone has heard about the new internet and home phone service CLEAR, DO NOT GET IT! The customer service is horrible... very rude people... and we seem to always have problems with our internet and also our house phone works half the time. We switched to this last month and BIG mistake. Time Warner is so much better and we are switching back to them next week. On Clear, for every 6 downloads you get 1 upload. On Time Warner for every 50 downloads you get 10 uploads. BIG difference... almost 10x faster. This is why my blogging has been delayed. I can't upload any pictures! ANNOYING! Sorry, I will now step down from my soap box, just wanted to inform everyone. Also, Clear told us that we had service in our area, and that is obviously not the case.
