Our sweet, innocent, and angelic baby boy turned three months on July, 20th. These babies just grow up so fast and in the blink of an eye. Bennett is so laid back and has such a sweet and cuddly disposition. He only cries when he has made a big diaper mess ;), is hungry, tired, or needs to be burped. Each cry is a little different and I can usually tell what he needs. He is not one to hold back smiles, and will bless just about anyone with one! They can, and will make. your. day! I was lucky enough to hear his first giggle the other day and it was heavenly! He is quite the ticklish baby and these tickles get him giggling every time. To hear those sweet and raspy giggles is wonderful!

Now, onto a few facts about our growing boy....

weighs around 12.5 - 13 pounds

size 0-3 - 3 months clothing

size 2 diaper

sleeps from 9:30-7:00 (rough estimate)... he likes to change it up

loves his crib

 has a long morning and afternoon nap, and a short evening catnap

not too fond of pacifiers, but will sometimes take one when I rock him

not a fan of bottles... you have to really work to get him to take a whole one... what can I say, he's a boob man ;)

I don't always have to rock him completely to sleep... once he's settled and drowsy I will lay him in his bed and he will put himself to sleep...
with this, he likes to suck on the sheets,  hand, or arm
 ( you can sometimes see hickeys on his arm, from him sucking on them... hehe)

loves watching and 'talking' to his sister... they already love each other SO much!

'Sparkle Day'

LaLa had the brilliant idea to take Arrington to Splash! Splash is a great water park for younger kids and even had a few slides for Mommy and LaLa to enjoy ;). We left Bennett with Nana, while we had a very special 'Sparkle Day'! I'm going to start taking Arrington on 'Sparkle Day's' every so often. That way she gets some 'one-on-one time' and we get to go do something fun! Arrington basically just pointed at what she wanted to do and we did it! She rode 3 different slide all by herself (with one of us taking her to the top of the slide and the other at the bottom to catch her), we swam in the lazy river, enjoyed the big pool, and splashed around in both the infant and kid pools. There was so much to do and everywhere you turned you were getting splashed with fun! 

Splash was a BIG hit with this little {Angel Baby}!

Independence Day

July 4th we went to my parent's house to swim, and then headed over to my grandparents to watch fireworks. My grandparents house backs up to a park, so we are guaranteed great seats and are able to cool off when needed. In the park they have a stage with a live band, carnival food, and lots of people watching. We took Arrington for a walk to check everything out, then headed back to eat dinner. Arrington loved the pretties/fireworks, but after about 15 minutes of them she was onto the next thing... it was a 30 minute firework show. Bennett slept through the whole show in Nana's arms and didn't awaken! He even slept through the grand finale! No scared babies = 4th of July success!
