Yee Haw! Saddle Up an' Hold On Tight...

'cause this little darlin' just arrived at the Fort Worth Stock Show!
Saturday was another beautiful day! We headed out to Fort Worth with my parents and brother to go see what all the Stock Show had to offer.  Arrington was a little skeptical at first of the sheep and animals, but soon warmed up to the idea. She really loved the little chicks, looking at the cows, and the bunny rabbits. I remember as a child coming out to the stock show and rodeo and having such a great time. We will definitely make this a yearly tradition!

Before we headed out to Ft. Worth we had another great lunch out at the golf course with Nana and Papa!

Prayers For Egypt

As a surreal revolution unfolds under my Aunt and Uncle's nose in Egypt please keep them in your prayers. My uncle works for BP Oil and they live in Egypt. He just called my Mom and said that their chartered flight should arrive sometime tomorrow to take them to London. He also said that him and his neighbors are taking measures into their own hands to protect their property. At some points they have had no internet access and no phones, due to everything being shut off. He has kept the family updated here and there when he has access to the outside world. I can not imagine how terrifying this must all be to them. The streets are not safe, due to tanks, gunfire, and homemade weapons. My Mom could hear gunfire in the background while talking to my uncle. Loots are the big threat with no police enforcement to be found. Please keep them in your prayers while they wait for a plane to take them to safety.

Don't Mind If We Do!

Today was such a beautiful day and we took full advantage of it! After having such cold weather, we were due for a little spring teaser! We really wanted to have lunch on a patio. So, where else would be a better place than out at the golf course on their patio. We had a delicious lunch and some fresh fruit, while basking in the sun and getting some much deserved vitamin D! We then wanted to spend some extra quality time with Daddy and went and rode with him for 9 holes of golf. Daddy played great... it must have been his lucky charms :).... and Arrington a perfect angel! She was also quite the attraction out there amongst all the golfers. We look forward to many more spring days ahead of us and spending them with our little Love! I wish everyday in Texas was as beautiful as today!

27 Week Appointment

We had our 27 week appointment and everything looks great! The doctor said that Bennett weighed around 2 lbs. We talked about my placenta and since I was supposed to have a sonogram at my next appointment, he just went ahead and fit me in for a sonogram that day. Daddy was pretty upset since this was the first time he had ever missed an appointment, and of course I had a sonogram and got to see our little mister. Bennett is measuring about a week small, which I figured since Arrington measured small as well. My placenta has moved up 15 cm, yay, but they are still going to monitor it and make sure that it moves up further. Bennett weighed 1 lb. 14 oz. and looked perfect! At Arrington's 26 week appointment she weighed 1 lb. 12 oz., so they are pretty close to the same weight. We were comparing sonogram pictures of Arrington and Bennett and they resemble each other a lot!
Here's the new sono pictures of Bennett, and I added some of Arrington to compare...

Here's a few little tidbits about this pregnancy:
  • Bennett moves a ton! He seems to move a lot more than Arrington did and with a little more force :)
  • Loves his Mommy to eat hamburgers, french fries, cookies, and Dr. Pepper. I know not the healthiest, but these cravings are ridiculous
  • when I sit down and lean forward he kicks me at the very bottom of my stomach, as to say, "hey mom, why don't you straighten up, your squishing me"
  • I have a ton more Braxton Hicks contractions and they are pretty strong. Some can even take my breath away
  • moves a ton in the middle of the night after I wake up for my potty break
  • loves to kick his sister while I'm holding her or rocking her to sleep
  • I'm having a few aches and pains around the pelvic area, but nothing that I can't handle
  • already started to roll out of bed, you Mommy's know what I'm talking about
  • I have a hard time getting up after I've been in one position for awhile
Here's some 27 week belly pictures... I look terrible, but hey, I actually remembered to take some ;)

We can't wait to meet our precious baby boy and finally hold him in our arms. We are already so in LOVE with him! Arrington and him are going to be the best of friends, especially since they are Irish Twins and all ;). I know she is going to absolutely love her little brother and will be the best Big Sister!
