Baby girl turned 10 months on December 9th. This past month I feel as though Arrington has changed so much. It seems like she is doing something new everyday and is turning into such a big girl ;). I love seeing her grow and change, but also wish that I could slow down this speeding process. Sometimes I just stare at her while I rock her and think back to when she was a newborn. It seems like yesterday we were bringing her home. I know that soon enough she won't want her Momma to rock her, so I try to cherish each and every day with her. Just typing this brings tears to my eyes. I love this little baby girl with all my heart and she brings us so much joy, love, warmth, and meaning to our little family. Enough with the sobbing... I know that writing her 12 month post is going to bring so many tears, so bear with me through her upcoming monthly post ;)
- Phe level 216... a big jump down from last month... WooHoo
- Weighed in at 18 lbs.
- finally said Momma on Christmas Eve... my early Christmas present from Arrington
- says: Momma (she uses this for me or her paci), Dada, Wow, Ohhhhhh, Num-nums, Uh-oh (loves to purposely drop things, just so she can say uh-oh)
- still at 4 bottles a day, but could really careless about her bottle. Weening her off the bottle will be no problem for this little one
- 1-2 naps a day. If she doesn't fall asleep with me holding her then I will lay her down in her crib and she will play in there until she puts herself to sleep
- size 6-9 or 9 months clothes
- still in size 1 shoe- size 1 is actually a little too big, but we can't stuff her foot in the size 0 shoes anymore. She has the tiniest of little feetsies
- pulling up onto her knees, but really wants to pull herself up all the way. She's a little scared and pretty cautious
- makes clicking noise with her tongue and a imitates chewing to tell you she wants some bites
- does not like to be told "no". She will grunt at you... I really need to get a video of this
- waves her hands in front of her when eating for "no more"
- loves to dancey dance
- love love loves music
- loves to explore our new house
- still cries if I leave a room and I'm out of her sight
- pretty much a Momma's girl right now. She just started this the past few weeks
- very rarely meets a stranger and cries. Most of the time she is smiling or flirting with strangers
- opening and closing drawers
- cut her 5th tooth- top 2nd tooth on her left side- I think the one on the other side is about to come through as well
- first time for her to really be sick- an upper respiratory infection with an ear infection and she was also cutting that 5th tooth. It made for a rough week
- had her first haircut
- Funny story- we were eating out last night at a Mexican food restaurant and Ben and I ordered fajitas. When they arrived at the table she got scared. I guess because of the noise and the smoke. She was sitting in her highchair and grabbing onto my arm and pulling me close to her. Another table got their fajitas and she really freaked when she saw the smoke from their food. Ben, I, and the waiter could not help but giggle. What a silly little girl ;)
