Arrington rolled over for the 1st time on May 5th! We had put her in her crib to go to bed and had been watching her on the monitor. All of a sudden I heard her moving. I looked at the monitor and thought something looked weird. How were her hands up like that since she sleeps on her tummy? I showed Ben and we both looked again and realized that she had just rolled over! I had been working with her on rolling over earlier that day. We of course rushed into her bedroom, took a couple of pictures, and praised her. My heart was swollen with pride! Baby girl did it! Of course she was then really awake with all the excitement we had caused, so we had to put her back in the pack 'n play in our room. We are having a bit of trouble getting her to transition from the pack 'n play to her crib. She goes to sleep fine, but just wakes up a lot. Any suggestions from the Mommas out there?

Keep doing it!! It will get easier and she will eventually be able to put herself back to sleep. Briggs was still waking up several times a night to get a paci until the last couple of months. Good Luck and keep up the great work. It is very difficult to do!!
I second that. Just keep trying. If you really think its important, just be consistent. If its not that big of a deal, then just do what you want. That's what's great about being Mommy! :)
